I’m a writer, editor, translator, educator and multimedia storyteller, currently focused on exploring different documentary and participatory video and audio narratives in various social and natural habitats. I wish to harness the cultural power of individual stories found within the everyday lives of local and indigenous communities to initiate and effect social change. Recorded, transcribed, documented 50 plus interviews in collaboration with students of the Zoology Department, West Bengal State University and the Non-profit- Nature Mates Nature Club.

My role as a Humanities person was to gather information about the fishers' cultural and occupational histories.
Ornamental Fish Farming and Trade in West Bengal
(Supported by Sahapedia UNESCO Designate Project Fellowship, 2017-2018)
Collaborated with ornamental fish farmers and traders across West Bengal, scientists and researchers at ICAR-CIFE and West Bengal University of Animal and Fishery Sciences and videographers to produce 3 articles, an image gallery, two full-length video interviews and a documentary of the fish farming and trading practice (running time 45 minutes)
